Peck tapping editor

This program will edit all the lines of your .tap file, adding G84 and depths. This save time making edits, reduces errors.

Select the file you want to edit. Must be an ASCII file like a .txt or .tap.

Enter tool number of tap that is in program, enter tap depth amount, starting plane, and peck increment. The boxes are filled with default settings. Modify as needed.

Listings will show the part of your program that will change. If changes are correct, make changes. Feed rate will not be changed.

A new file will be created. Your file will NOT be modified. The default will add G84 to the name of your program. Program will automatically close when finished.
